Tryouts for U14, U15, and U16 begin on May 9th.  Please visit https://essex-southpoint.com/Articles/1550/Tryouts_Updated/ for more information.

In order to participate in tryouts, players must pre-register for tryouts and pay the tryout fee.  All players will register in HCR under Southpoint for the tryout process only.  Registration for the season will follow soon after.  Please follow these easy steps to pre-register and pay for tryouts:

1. Proceed to registration page https://page.hockeycanada.ca/page/hc/ohf/ontario-minor-hockey-association/region-1-a/southpoint
2. Click Register Now.
3. Click Register Now again.
4. Login to your HCR account.
5. Choose Southpoint Minor Hockey and register for the appropriate tryout.
6. Etransfer payment to [email protected] with Password: Capitals

Please include the players name and division in the memo.  Tryout cost is $75.  Cash will not be accepted at the door.  If you are an NRP coming from another centre please etransfer the tryout payment as outlined in #6 above and your son/daughter will be added to the tryout list.  You will not be able to access the registration in HCR because you are still tied to your home centre.

There will be a mandatory checking clinic on May 4th at 6 pm in Leamington.  The checking clinic is open to all players 2009 and above who intend to tryout for rep hockey and have not taken a checking clinic before.  Please follow the same steps above and register for the checking clinic within HCR.  There is no cost for the clinic if the tryout fee has been paid.
