2020-21 Season PAUSED Effective November 30
Dear Membership,

Regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic Response, the province on Ontario has now designated the Windsor-Essex PHU zone as Red (Control).

EMHA Board of Directors held an Emergency Board Meeting to determine direction in the event Windsor-Essex PHU was moved to RED status. Under Red (Control), game play and scrimmages are not permitted, and the Essex Sports Complex & Nature Fresh Farms complex is limited to 10 participants (players & coaches) during a rental

The factors considered by the Board of Directors were:

1. Risk to our players, coaches, staff & parents under present community health conditions.
2. Risk regarding the viability of EMHA to financially manage the reduction of players permitted versus cost of ice.

The Board of Directors came to the determination, that under RED status, all Hockey Operations will PAUSE effective Monday, November 30, 2020.

EMHA will continue to prepare for a 2021 Winter Session, which is currently planned to operate for 10 weeks from January 4 through March 13.

All EMHA players currently registered will now receive a credit towards the 2021 Winter Session. The credit amount, and Winter Session fee will be communicated when available. Details to follow.

At this time, we would like to wish our Membership a Safe & Happy Holiday season, and look forward to returning in the New Year.
