Essex teams shine in Caledonia Tournament
The Bantam AE, Peewee Rep and Peewee AE have done well in the Caledonia tournament this weekend making it to the semi final and final games.

In Saturday night action the Peewee AE's defeated the Midland Centennials in an exciting 4-3 contest.  In the final game on Sunday afternoon it was the Oakville Rangers who would go on to win 4-2.  Our Peewee AE's had a great weekend winning the first four game of the tournament and outscoring opponents 18-12.  Click here for their Team Tournament Page.

The Bantam AE team came up just short in the semi-final against the St. Mary's Rock in a 2-1 final.  Click here for their Team Tournament Page

The Peewee Rep team faced off against  the hometown Caledonia team Sunday morning in the semi-final game.   After going up early in the game, the Thunder stormed back and were up 3-1 after two periods.  The Ravens never gave up inspite of playing in front of the Thunder's home crowd.  Essex came back and tied the game to force a 5 minute overtime period.  After spending most of four minutes in the Caledonia end the Thunder banked in a shot that won the game for them 4-3.  The Thunder went on to win the tournament defeating the Midland Centennials in the final.  Peewee rep game results can be found on their tournament page.
