Novice Major, 2015-2016, Trav (Essex Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the Essex Raven Novice Majors who brought home the Bluewater Championship!

The Essex Raven Novice Majors travelled to Lincoln, Ontario November 20-22, 2015 to take part in the 31st Annual Doug Robinson Tournament.

The Novice Majors travelled to Parry Sound to take part in the Bobby Orr Classic from October 16-18, 2015.   Our first game of the tournament had us face off against the home town Parry Sound Shamrocks! The Ravens came out strong and finished the game with a convincing 7-0 win!  The second game against the Petawawa Patriots was much of the same from the Ravens!  The black and orange dominated the game with a final score of 11-1!  The Ravens finished off Saturday with a 5-1 win against the East Gwillumbury Eagles, securing themselves a place in the semi-finals!

The coaching staff would like to thank all of the players for their hard work and dedication during tryouts.  It was a difficult decision but we would like to wish all players best of luck in the upcoming season. We would like to welcome the following players to the Essex Ravens Novice Major team for the 2015/2016 season. The last tryout for the Novice Majors is scheduled for Thursday September 3rd at 5:30 pm on Rink B (Shaheen).   The final roster will be posted by Friday September 4th. Looking forward to seeing everyone back on the ice!
