Essex-Southpoint Hockey Amalgamation Update!

For the 2022-2023 hockey season, the travel program will be operating as Essex-Southpoint Hockey, under the Shared Boundary Initiative. The formal amalgamation of the two centers has not yet been approved by OMHA due to paperwork legalities, and therefore we will not be able to use the new organization name that was voted in by the membership (Talbot Trail Blazers). Seeing as this is a transition year, and due to timing, both Essex and Southpoint boards voted on a colour scheme to use for the upcoming season.  A mock up jersey is shown below.



The Amalgamation Committee is continuing to work through the OMHA paperwork and will submit to OMHA in the fall for approval.  If approved, we will engage the membership to vote on a colour scheme and logo for use in the 2023-2024 season!
